GLANITHON
St Llyr
Llanyre, Llandrindod Wells LD1 6NF

St Ll yr may have early medieval origins as a religious site, but the current building was rebuilt in the Early English Gothic style in 1885 to designs by the celebrated S.W. Williams. The cost was largely put up by the local Venables family. A bell hangs externally in a timber frame in the churchyard.
The Church is kept in good condition and is a vibrant part of the local community and a joy to be in.
